Education doesn’t stop at high school graduation. Years 13–20 represent the next stages of learning, from workforce certifications and apprenticeships to associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
Through EduREACH, CEN supports rural learners as they pursue continued education, develop career-ready skills, and navigate pathways to meaningful employment and long-term career success.
From Dreams to Reality: Brittany Baumbach’s Path with CEN
Turning Dreams into Reality Through Education
After working in healthcare since the age of 18, Brittany Baumbach knew she wanted to take her career further. Inspired by her children and a desire to build a better future for her family, she returned to school with dreams of becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Balancing work, family, and education hasn’t always been easy, but Brittany is determined to succeed. Through CEN’s EduREACH support, she receives weekly check-ins, encouragement, accountability, and connections to educational and career opportunities that help her stay focused on her goals.
Today, Brittany is working toward completing her prerequisites and entering a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Her journey is a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to pursue new opportunities.

EduREACH connects rural adult learners and P-TECH Year 13/14 students to education, apprenticeships, and career opportunities close to home.
Through personalized coaching and ongoing support, we help learners overcome barriers, achieve their goals, and build meaningful careers—strengthening both individuals and the rural communities they call home.

Rooted in rural Texas and expanding beyond state lines, Collegiate Edu-Nation (CEN) partners with schools, communities, and industry leaders to strengthen education-to-career pathways and expand economic opportunity. As our reach grows, we remain committed to meeting rural communities where they are, building sustainable partnerships, and bringing proven solutions to more regions across the nation.

Apprenticeships
Combining hands-on, on-the-job training with classroom instruction, registered apprenticeships provide a direct pathway to meaningful careers. Apprentices gain valuable skills, receive mentorship, and earn wages that increase as they advance. As a registered apprenticeship sponsor, CEN connects employers with apprentices and supports their journey toward career success.
Grow Your Own Program
Teach Where It Matters (TWiM) is a grow-your-own teacher apprenticeship program designed to strengthen the rural educator workforce. Through hands-on classroom experience, mentorship, and support toward teacher certification, TWiM creates pathways for aspiring educators to build meaningful careers while serving the communities they call home.
Rural Advocacy
The #EPIC Project brings together rural leaders, businesses, and educational institutions to strengthen communities and expand economic opportunity. Through strategic partnerships and initiatives focused on workforce development, education, housing, and infrastructure, #EPIC drives sustainable growth and builds a stronger future for rural communities.
